How to make candied pecans

Pecans in salads are good—candied pecans in salads are magical. Luckily, they only take about 15 minutes to make:

2 cups pecans
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. butter

1. Heat a non-stick skillet over med-high heat.

2. Melt the butter, then add the sugar and pecans, stirring constantly.

3. Stir until the sugar melts into a brown liquid and the pecans are thoroughly covered.

4. Remove from heat and let the pecans dry on a silicone baking mat or sheet of parchment paper.

5. Let pecans cool completely before using.
