It’s become abundantly clear that I need to read The Hunger Games.
*Editor’s note: I read the entire book in one day after posting this.
I thought it was kind of hokey throughout the first half of Book 1, but by the end I was hooked. Book 3 is pretty haunting as you really get a sense of how the Hunger Games–and the dystopian world they were situated in–traumatized the characters.
